WHAT Grand Junction CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING
We love our customers from Grand Junction areas around Montrose, Fruita, Evergreen, Grand Junction, and Pagosa Springs.
Just 2 weeks ago we stopped by after a vet appointment where we found out one of our dogs has cancer that is not treatable. We were looking at doggy diapers and the manager (I think her name was Amy?) Came over and was offering her treats. We talked about, on our walk over from the vet, how she was going to get anything she could want in the time she has remaining... We absolutely fell apart having a stranger be so sweet to her. The kindness that we were all shown that day displays how much the staff at chow down really loves animals. There is no way we can express in words how much we truly appreciate your compassion and kindness you showed the 3 of us. Hands down, chow down is place to shop for any pet needs you may have.
Best selection of cat food, treats and toys in Mesa County. They didn't have the big bags of BoxieCat litter, though, and what they did have was a bit expensive, comparatively. But they have a great selection of higher end dry and canned food. Their dog products were also impressive. They don't carry any of the grocery store yucky stuff either. Awesome selection of treats, toys, leashes and harnesses, locally made food and water dishes, and the list goes on!they also had a massive selection of frozen/refridgerated and dehydrated meat-based meal options (dogs and cats). They had a few options of grains, scratch, elc. for the poultry peeps too! I believe dog grooming services are also offered.
I have a 16 1/2 year-old Yorkie that is not eating. I came in to find some different foods to try and Amber helped me. She was so kind and helpful and gave me some samples to try to help get her to eat. I appreciate their caring and love of animals. I will never again shop anywhere but here for my pets.
