Chow Down started back in the early nineties in a tiny space adjacent to a car wash. The vision, spearheaded by Petra Davis, was to offer premium pet food with unsurpassed customer service. Petra’s passion for animals was equal to her desire to educate pet parents about the importance of proper nutrition and pet care. The pet industry has come a long way since then but the fundamentals remain the same: outstanding customer service, love of the animal and the importance of understanding the myriad of products and services available to our pets.

We went here while on a road trip because our cats weren't eating. We got great help picking out some delicious kitty kibble. The man who helped us even gave us a free sample of it to make sure our cats liked it before we purchased it. Turns out they loved it and our kitties were happy and eating again. They also had cute shop cats, especially mouse. It seems like the people who work here, it's more than just a job for them and they really love animals.
My grandson adopted his first kitten from the Humane Society. He was given a folder with a voucher from Chow Down. He received so many goodies; treats, food and litter! Chow Down was such a blessing to him and his new kitten! They were very helpful in letting him know what foods to pick and other helpful hints. We will certainly be back for other cat needs!
