Pet Food and Supply Store in Evergreen, CO

I first visited Chow Down in January when my senior heart dog, Sophie (who is fighting liver cancer), lost her appetite. I was in tears. Alexis guided us through the store and had so many knowledgeable suggestions. And she was SO empathetic to Sophie’s stage in life. She even gave us some samples so we didn’t have to spend money on bags of food/treats Sophie wouldn’t eat. I’m SO happy to say it’s almost May and Sophie is doing better now (weekly visits to Chow Down!) than she was in January. Every single time we go into the store Sophie is greeted and she loves all of the free sniffs. Nikola and Alexis know Sophie by name and that just makes my heart explode. Every single staff member makes it a point to stop and say hello to both Sophie and my shy boy, Beau. He needs the socialization and this store’s employees have helped him become more brave every week. I just can’t say enough good things about Chow Down and their employees. We moved to Colorado recently and they’ve made us feel like we’re home. That really means a lot when you’ve got a terminally ill senior dog and you’re away from family. Loyal customer for life.

I just wanted to say that i was looking at choices of raw food for my older skinny doodle who is 13. Carrie came up and talked about pros and cons , and I found i really saw here love of dogs, good nutrition and i bought the food. My Fletcher ate it and wanted more! This i s my boy who I buy meat at king soopers for! This food is better for him and less expensive. Thank you Carrie! And your awesome little counter pup! ⁹

My 3 month old puppy was having the runs. Bruce spent time with me, and Peanut, and recommended a quality food my puppy loves and a probiotic digestive powder. He even gave us free product to try! Peanut started getting regular right away and we are grateful for all the friendly and helpful folks at Chow Down, especially Bruce!
