WHAT Evergreen CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING
We love our customers from Evergreen areas around Montrose, Fruita, Evergreen, Grand Junction, and Pagosa Springs.
Fantastic! I came in looking for dog food (on vacation and ran out). Although they didn’t have my usual dry food, the woman at the desk walked me and my dog around, listened to my dog’s dietary needs and suggested this product. Now keep in mind that this store has much more than pet food. They have adorable shirts for the humans, ID tags, chew sticks, dog apparel and the individually wrapped ADORABLE dog cookies at the counter were fantastic!! I want to go back before we leave and shop around more.
I first visited Chow Down in January when my senior heart dog, Sophie (who is fighting liver cancer), lost her appetite. I was in tears. Alexis guided us through the store and had so many knowledgeable suggestions. And she was SO empathetic to Sophie’s stage in life. She even gave us some samples so we didn’t have to spend money on bags of food/treats Sophie wouldn’t eat. I’m SO happy to say it’s almost May and Sophie is doing better now (weekly visits to Chow Down!) than she was in January. Every single time we go into the store Sophie is greeted and she loves all of the free sniffs. Nikola and Alexis know Sophie by name and that just makes my heart explode. Every single staff member makes it a point to stop and say hello to both Sophie and my shy boy, Beau. He needs the socialization and this store’s employees have helped him become more brave every week. I just can’t say enough good things about Chow Down and their employees. We moved to Colorado recently and they’ve made us feel like we’re home. That really means a lot when you’ve got a terminally ill senior dog and you’re away from family. Loyal customer for life.
